The Children’s Research Network is holding a practical workshop on 'Research Ethics'. This will take place at our office in 9 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2 on Thursday, 28th September 6-8pm.
This is the third workshop in the CRN Research Skills Summer School, aimed at practitioner researchers and research interested professionals, including early years educators, social workers, youth workers, teachers, research consultants and early career academics. The School consists of a series of workshops held on Thursday evenings, including sessions on sampling and recruitment; data collection methods; data analysis and training in different software packages; practitioner research; introduction to statistical analysis; ethics; and conducting literature searches and reviews. The workshops will also include a session on EBSCO, which has just been launched as a new CRN offer to members. Dates and facilitators will be confirmed soon.
In this seventh workshop on research ethics, participants will get the opportunity to learn more about ethical research practices, ethical approval processes and best practice in ethical research with children and young people.
